INVECCHIAMENTO

Botti di rovere francese – 1 anno

Born from Sangiovese grapes grown in our vineyards of Capriata, in the Monferrato area. Characterized by an intense garnet red and a refined bouquet that recalls hints of violets, red cherries, black pepper, dark chocolate along with notes of licorice, tobacco and truffle. Its strong and round character is well explained by the attention paid to the wine-making process through manual harvesting, the careful selection of the bunches and the strict temperature control. Ages 12 months in French oak barrels maintained throughout the winter at a controlled temperature of 5 ° C in our cellar. Bottled with the waning moon to favor its predisposition to aging and following a traditional racking without filtration. Decant and serve at 15-18 ° C.
